This series comprises one folder of material from the Rev. Theophilus L. Fritschel while he was chairman of the Mission Auxiliary (MA). The records are from approximately 1946-1947 and contain a small amount of correspondence in addition to reports on auxiliary work, copies of particular MA meeting minutes, and notes pertaining to issues for consideration at future meetings. Subject matter discussed in the correspondence includes the idea of publicizing home mission work in The Lutheran Missionary, wider circulation of The Lutheran Missionary, and information regarding a future MA Executive Committee meeting. Several letters pertain to the issue of the ALC Board of Foreign Missions incorporating the work of the Mission Auxiliary into its own work.
